How We Earn Revenue
NiceName.me earns money in three ways:
- Domain sales. We sell domains from our own portfolio through AtomPay, a secure escrow payment system. When you purchase a domain directly from us, that's a direct sale — not an affiliate transaction.
- Affiliate commissions. Some links on this site lead to products and services from our partners. If you click one of these links and make a purchase, we may receive a commission. This costs you nothing extra — the price is the same whether you use our link or go directly.
- Free tools. Our Domain Appraisal and Domain Quiz are free to use. They help you make informed decisions and may lead you to explore domains from our portfolio or our partners.
Our Affiliate Partners
We currently have affiliate relationships with the following companies:
- Dynadot — domain registration (Ambassador program)
- Namecheap — domain registration, hosting, SSL certificates (Impact partnership)
- Atom.com — premium domain marketplace
- Sedo — domain marketplace and search
We may add new affiliate partners over time. When we do, this page will be updated.
How This Affects Our Content
It doesn't — or at least, it shouldn't. Here's how we keep things honest:
- We recommend tools we actually use. Dynadot is our own registrar for our entire portfolio. We wouldn't recommend it if we didn't trust it.
- We never recommend a product solely because it pays a higher commission.
- We clearly mark affiliate links and paid partnerships.
- Our domain appraisal tool uses real market data, not prices that benefit our sales.
- If we think a free alternative is better for your situation, we'll say so.
